Hosting is the back bone of our Digital services, it was one of the first things we invested in back in the 90's after being let down so much by a couple of reputable UK hosting brands, who were offering cheap but slow and unreliable hosting with overseas support.

Hosting has grown organically for us as we invested ad-hoc in hardware, starting with just a few bare metal servers before virtualisation really took off through to a full cabinet of servers running any number of virtual machines.

In more recent years we have moved towards clustered solutions for our higher risk customers and our own VPS hosting platforms which are helping us to normalise hardware failures and maintain better uptime and peace of mind for our customers.

(Paul, our MD, who is still very hands on with this aspect of our business, is pictured perched on some of the new hardware as it was arriving at our offices).

Moving forward with further investment that takes our redundancy and disaster recovery offerings to the next level we are extremely happy to announce that despite recent global events we are now open for business in a sister data centre in Welwyn Garden City, which, just like Enfield is also top notch Tier III facility.

This investment brings with it powerful AMD EPYC processors, the ability for us to offer secure off-site backups, and synchronous replication of entire virtual machines to a second geographic location for disaster recovery and maintenance.
