“It’s the biggest thing we’ve undertaken in years as far as business restructuring… but it’s made us far more diligent and mindful of the security aspects of what we do.
We’ve seen this coming for over a year so had started organising our business processes in order to cover some of the work we needed to do. That said, it also offered up some ‘really, we have to do that?’ moments – but on the whole it was an extremely cathartic process – especially on the technical side of things.
Self governing business procedures in order to conform to internal office-based security issues is one thing – but also delving into IT assets/hardware, our hosting infrastructure and general data sharing is another!
