We Don’t Do Templates… Do We?

… well maybe this once.

As a web company we are always telling clients that our designs are fully customised and that templates are not used by Kaweb… and that we don’t regurgitate old designs etc. etc.

Well, we’ve made an exception in the case of Barkers – a site we’ve just launched – and who are an estate and letting agent based in Leicester.

There is a reason for this and it’s good one we think – their company is a sister company to the larger Nicholas Humphreys estate agents (also based in Leicester, but with offices across Loughborough, Burton and Derby) and Nick wanted the same look, feel and functionality applied to the Barkers brand (whilst making use of all the same intuitive functionalit, as well as of course – the ever important – property data).

So Glenn here set about the task by applying a whole new colour pallette to the site and ensuring all graphics fell inline with Barkers’ corporate branding.

Some further changes were required (such as links to customised payment page), property data updates, dynamic pdf graphics as well as all the meta data etc. (gotta keep Google happy).

Not only has this proved to be cost effective, the way we’ve done means it’s not so obvious that the site started off life on another domain.
