WordPress Developer

A team player with a pragmatic approach to development – you’ll may occasionally be expected to be involved in client meetings, providing guidance and gathering information, so confidence and the ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely will be important.

This could be a fully remote position, however we believe social interaction and the office environment can help to develop skills and relationships within our teams so do encourage occasional office visits when it is safe to do so.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2-3 years commercial experience building bespoke WordPress websites.
  • Experience with the development of custom WordPress Plugins & Themes.
  • Good PHP7-8/MySQL knowledge.
  • Good debugging and optimisation skills.
  • A good knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and ES6 JavaScript.
  • Git experience in a Git Flow environment.


And in an ideal world:

  • Prior experience working in a fast paced digital agency environment.
  • Basic Linux usage and relevant development technologies like Vagrant or Docker.
  • Experience using Atlassian Bitbucket and Jira software.
