Several major roads intersect the county, including the M6 Toll, the UK's first toll motorway, it also has an extensive network of canals. Staffordshire is home to the highest village in England, Flash, which stands at 1,518 feet above sea level. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was bred for hunting purposes in this county. Staffordshire's terrain varies from The Roaches, a geographical feature situated in the north to Cannock Chase, an area of natural beauty, in the south.

Web Design - Staffordshire

Kaweb design and build websites for a wide range of clients including those below who are based in Staffordshire. Within Staffordshire itself we cater for clients in Cannock and Lichfield.

Our main aim with any new website build is to ensure that an excellent design is supported with the latest in usability techniques (eg. W3C compliance), supportive functionality, as well as answering the brief itself. Whether it be an ecommerce solution, an online application or a more simple service-based information site, this core methodology is behind everything we do. Getting the basics right (in code terms) also helps a great deal with regard to search engine optimisation. So often, sites do not rank well because they do not follow best practice coding in the first place.

Mappr V2

  •
  •

Primarily for the use of our estate agent clients, mappr is used to show property search results on a map. Using feed data, we are able to display the properties on a map (tailored to the user’s specified criteria) as well as show the relevant sales/letting information within the same interface. This makes the user-journey more intuitive than sifting through standard results listing pages as well as offering the user all relevant information regarding proximity to local services, schools and railway stations. The mappr service can be applied to existing online solutions as well as a standalone applications.

Nicholas Humphreys

The first stage required for the development of the new Nicholas Humphreys website was to design a new logo. With their existing branding colours well known – it was important these were retained, and that the new logo helped evoke the friendly ethos behind the company. After several versions of logo were worked up, one was chosen that was to be used on the site (and that we also helped apply across all their other marketing collateral which included signboards, branch signage, stationery and general advertising).

John German

  •

Possibly the first of it’s kind, the new John German website records every click a user makes on the site, and then adapts the site content so as to make it easier for the user to browse. By recording user activity, the site can display relevant links, properties and suggestions to the user, whilst still allowing them to alter their history by way of a My JG account preference screen. Add to this a mailing list section that auto-emails subscribers the latest properties (based on favoured searches), as well as website designs that change with the seasons, the site really has raised the bar in online solutions for estate agents.
