About Lichfield

Lichfield, a city steeped in heritage, is around 19 miles north east of Birmingham in the county of Staffordshire. Amongst other things, it is famous for it's three spired Cathedral and is the birth place of Samuel Johnson. It has also been home to respected dignitaries such as David Garrick and Erasmus Darwin, grandfather of Charles Darwin. The Lichfield Heritage Trail let's you discover more about Lichfield's hidden past. The Lichfield Garrick is a new and exciting venue in the Midlands for art, theatre and conferences.
