mappr is an online mapping service that plots your locations on a Google style map. Adopting the same features you are used to with Google Maps, we also introduce our own according to the type of service you supply or data you’d like shown.

Primarily for the use of our estate agent clients, mappr is used to show property search results on a map. Using feed data, we are able to display the properties on a map (tailored to the user’s specified criteria) as well as show the relevant sales/letting information within the same interface.

This makes the user-journey more intuitive than sifting through standard results listing pages as well as offering the user all relevant information regarding proximity to local services, schools and railway stations. The mappr service can be applied to existing online solutions as well as a standalone applications.

After 3 years of Mappr Version 1, we decided it needed a more robust and intuitive successor. We grabbed the best ideas from it – Property Clustering, Property Details and Property Types, but took it one step further. We reinvented the design, building on top of the Google Maps API to create custom skins for clients, and offer more insight to the user, giving them Street View, Local Area Info and Geolocation. We’re proud to have built one of the best property mapping solutions in the UK.

To reflect their current website in terms of design, the emphasis for this estate agent app has been useability. Keeping it simple, whilst making use of recent iPhone OS enhancement ensures that users can find property quickly and get in touch with Boothroyd with a minimum level of fuss.

Also featuring the ability to send property details by email to a friend, get directions via a Google map or contact the branch – the App is targetted at their entire client base, but particluarly the students that use their services across Stafford, Lichfield, Burton and Uttoexeter.

With a new website (which we produced as well), the new App also ties in completely with their new online look.

Loveitts are a multi-discipline agency, with a great history, covering Coventry, Leamington Spa and Southam.

With a previous site that did not really cover their broad range of skills very well and under-performed in lead generation, it was our job to ensure to ensure the brand was maintained and introduce a simple user-journey to each of the disciplines whilst maintaining all the information necessary for the end-user to make that call (or viewing request!).

Multiple search results views give the user options on how they wanted the properties displayed, and a prominent tool bar on the properties details page highlighted tools at their disposal at property level.

With best-practice SEO (search engine optimisation) coding conventions deployed across the site and Google Analytics goals implemented, real time stats can be analysed as to user behaviour and the number of leads generated.

We’re chuffed to bits that the site has doubled it’s traffic within two months of launch, and by all accounts has helped increased the amount of business throughput to Loveitts.

Based in Leeds, Stoneacre Properties estate agents asked us to update their website to a more modern design. The final product is a true example of how an estate agent site can include beautiful design and user interface. A strong colour scheme based around their company branding was used to create a tidy, easy to use site with sharp visuals and smooth animated effects.

Stoneacre Properties includes many new features, including commercial lets and commercial sales searches, a revolutionary new alerts system with multiple search criteria, and a new emailing system with focus on better communication and design. With commercial properties as part of the property search, the Stoneacre Properties site has deeper and more varied search options, allowing users more granularity when searching for their perfect property.

Stoneacre Properties showcases full social integration with Facebook and Twitter and like our other estate agents sites, Stoneacre Properties utilises Mappr, our property mapping library and Agent Admin, our estate agent admin area, which gives full control over properties displayed on the site.

The first stage required for the development of the new Nicholas Humphreys website was to design a new logo. With their existing branding colours well known – it was important these were retained, and that the new logo helped evoke the friendly ethos behind the company. After several versions of logo were worked up, one was chosen that was to be used on the site (and that we also helped apply across all their other marketing collateral which included signboards, branch signage, stationery and general advertising).

The website/domains needed a complete overhaul. Their previous online marketing activity was split across different domains which meant a somewhat disparate offering. We set to work on centralising all their disciplines (residential sales, residential lettings, professional sales and student lettings) under one domain with key section headers. This also meant the integration of property data form their sister company (Barkers, Leicester), for which we are now developing a separate site for (using the same format).

Property data comes in by way of separate feeds from Vebra and CFP Winman, to which we added our own graphical flags so as to highlight various aspects of each property (eg. Featured status, Display Address management and Feature Tags).

In terms of search engine optimisation, this really needed sorting as their previous site did nothing for their web ‘footprint’. We ensured all SEO best-practice coding conventions were adopted and the usual feeds/tools used so as to elevate their general ranking status [in Google]. Since launch, this has meant that their bounce rate is down (by 30%) and overall visits have more than doubled.

Other features include Google Earth/Maps results, dynamic PDF downloads, configurable print options, a secure online payment page (which allows their cleints to pay late rent fees, application fees etc.) and social networking integration (which we setup for them) to attract a larger student user base.

Finally, we  deployed Google Goals so that NJH management could track the leads (viewing requests, send to a friend, general enquiries etc.) generated from the site each month (on a per branch basis).
