Kaweb have completed the production of an iPhone App for Aidan J Reed - one of our estate agent clients.

Kaweb have completed the production of an iPhone App for Aidan J Reed – who are one of our estate agent clients.

Making use of data we already hold online, we’ve been able to create a simple easy to use interface that aligns nicely with the look of the AJR website and other branding.

This Estate Agent iPhone App is another marketing device that will help Aidan J Reed reach other more mobile markets therefore increasing sales as well as enhancing their service to prospective vendors.

We at Kaweb are extremely excited about this type of work (having loved Macs for the past twenty of years!) and are looking forward to producing more iPhone applications for new and existing clients.

Today, Kaweb completed the purchase of the assets and services of LivePropertyMap.com Ltd - the company that we purchased the River Internet brand from last year.

Today, Kaweb completed the purchase of the assets and services of LivePropertyMap.com Ltd – the company that we purchased the River Internet brand from last year.

For current LivePropertyMap.com clients, this purchase now means the full consolidation of existing online services under one roof at Kaweb.

The benefits of this include:

• single port of call for the provision of all of your sites’ online activity
• speedier maintenance / support for mapping issues
• new mapping features to be rolled out in the next 12 months

New owner, new name

With the integration of LivePropertyMap.com into the Kaweb fold, we are also taking the opportunity to rebrand the LivePropertyMap.com service into one that will now be known as mappr.

mappr is a product name we have already started using, and one we think more reflects the global nature of our mapping service (as well as being less of a tongue twister!).

Kaweb have developed a new online mapping service that enables properties to be shown on a Google-styled map.

Kaweb have developed a new online mapping service that enables properties to be shown on a Google-styled map.

The application, dubbed mappr, has been developed in-house and is designed to work with existing client sites (such as our estate agents) as well as be integrated into other service industries that require this type of solution.

Database driven, the software makes use of information we already hold for existing Kaweb-hosted clients. Where a client is not hosted by Kaweb, the data can easily be imported into our systems via feeds from third party sites/suppliers.

mappr features include:

Zoom functionality

Map/satellite/hybrid toggling

Intelligent information overlay

Tailored to suit, Kaweb can build any data-specific requirements into the map and style accordingly.

Estate Agent Property Mapping

The new service will mean more intuitive property searches for users. Allowing them to search and display properties from their chosen criteria quickly, and furnish them with all the necessary property details, will be a real time saver.

The screen shot below shows how the software can be applied to a commercially-based agent (with many property types).

Other Applications

Any online service that requires the placement of a property/service on a map can make use of this software. These could include housebuilders, developers, UK-based retail outlets and any service requiring location-based search results.

mappr Updates

Planned updates include a client admin area and property clustering as well as more end-user enhancements – so look out for more from mappr!

This is the first of a series of newsletters keeping our clients informed of all the latest goings-on at Kaweb. With news on site launches, support articles, and hardware updates – we hope you find it informative.

Kaweb hit home with John German

This forward-thinking estate agent wanted a more intuitive online solution. We came up with something that rewrites the rules on how an estate agent website offers content to the user.

Hotmail issue – what happened

You may remember we had an issue with customers sending emails to Hotmail, Live and MSN accounts recently. Read our blog to find out what the issue was and how email account users on our platform can help to stop it happening again.

Commercial agent Chartex chooses Kaweb

Formerly known as Jones & Company, Chartex needed new branding as well as a whole new site which included online property management and mapping.

Kaweb have a Blog

Similar to our News archive, we are using our Blog to share general technical issues with other developers as well as other bits and bobs at Kaweb.

myexperienze.com taps into our experience

Kaweb have developed a site for a client which invites users to share their experiences. Whether it be a dodgy product or the glowing review of a holiday – it’s your chance to share, view and rate it!

Pay Kaweb online

Kaweb have introduced a secure online payment interface for clients wishing to pay us using a credit or debit card. Clients can attribute payments to invoice numbers at no extra charge (except for American Express card users for which there is a surcharge).
